It’s been singled out as one of the best laptops of 2025, and having seen it, we’re inclined to agree.
At 2.8 lbs in the touch OLED config, it’s thin, light, and premium in a way that ThinkPads haven’t always been. And it’s still a ThinkPad underneath, a line with a decades-long reputation for build quality that’s survived more owners and redesigns than almost any other laptop brand.
Downsides: it will sting ThinkPad loyalists that there’s no TrackPoint. The little red nub that’s defined ThinkPads for decades is gone. If that’s a dealbreaker for you, you already know it. For everyone else, it’s a non-issue.
We love it because it’s a premium, highly reputable laptop that happens to be an attractive white.

If the ThinkPad’s price gives you pause but you still want real white, the Zenbook S16 in Scandinavian White is your answer. It’s $1,499.00, and it’s genuinely white, not cream. It’s been reviewed as one of the best-looking laptops tech publications have tested in years.
You get a 16” 3K OLED display at 120Hz, an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365, 24GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, all wrapped in a Ceraluminum chassis, which is a ceramic-aluminum composite that feels lovely and holds the white color beautifully. It weighs 3.3 lbs, so it’s bigger and heavier than most of the other picks here. That’s the tradeoff for the larger 16” screen.
Downsides: at 3.3 lbs with a 16” body, it’s not the one to grab if portability is your top priority.

The whole keyboard deck is white too, which is rarer than you’d think. Reviewers have consistently praised how light it is, with one outlet going as far as saying it’s worth every penny.
The base config is $1,299.99 MSRP, built to order direct from HP.com: an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 13.3” WUXGA display. The Ceramic White finish is included at no extra cost.
Downsides: this is a custom-built-to-order machine, not an off-the-shelf item that ships tomorrow. HP’s own page shows it ships in about two weeks. There’s no new-condition Amazon listing for this exact config either, only a “renewed” (refurbished) one, so HP.com direct is the only place to get it new. The screen is also smaller at 13.3”, which is the price you pay for the featherweight build.

Want a white gaming laptop? Prepare your wallet. The ROG Zephyrus G14 in Platinum White is $2,719.95. That’s not a typo, and it’s not us padding the number, it’s the real current price. An old $1,799 figure used to float around, but it’s stale.
For that money you get an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, an RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 14” 3K OLED. At under 4 lbs, it’s genuinely portable for a gaming laptop this powerful, which is the whole point of the G14 line. It’s white, it’s fast, and it doesn’t weigh as much as a brick.
So why so expensive? Because there’s no cheap white gaming laptop anywhere right now. The nearest alternatives we found were the Lenovo Legion 7a at $1,999 and a white Razer Blade 14 at around $2,600. That’s simply where white gaming laptops sit today. One note on buying it: there’s no single clear seller or buy-box on this listing, so check who’s actually fulfilling the order before you commit.
Downsides: it’s expensive, full stop. If you don’t need gaming or creator-grade power, you’re paying a fortune for hardware you won’t use.

Downsides: it’s obviously a skin, not a factory finish. And applying vinyl cleanly takes a steady hand and a bit of patience. Get it right and it looks great. Rush it and you’ll have bubbles.

Everything above costs at least $1,299. This doesn’t. The ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 in White is $499.99, sold and shipped directly by Amazon.com, and in stock right now. Keep in mind it’s a Chromebook, not a Windows or Mac machine, so it won’t run your regular Windows or Mac apps, it runs ChromeOS instead. And it’s truly white, not an off-white or cream or what have you.
You get an Intel Core i3-1215U, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 14” FHD display, and ChromeOS. It weighs about 3.2 lbs. Reviewers have generally liked it, calling it reliable and good value for the price, with a solid keyboard to boot.
Downsides: there are some, and we’ll be straight about them. It’s a Chromebook, so it can’t run regular Windows or Mac software, ChromeOS only. The plastic lid and keyboard deck feel cheap despite the nice white color. The touchpad has a slight click-delay. And battery life is a genuine weak spot, reviewers consistently note it could be longer, which is notable for a Chromebook, where all-day battery is supposed to be the whole selling point. But if you don’t need serious power and just want a clean white laptop that costs a fraction of everything else here, this is the one.
